It will also give the visiting teams the chance to practice before the tournament kicks off.<br \/>\nAs per the plan, one Shaheens team will play practice matches in Karachi, another in Lahore, and the third will be based in Dubai.<br \/>\nAdditionally, New Zealand and South Africa, both participating in the Champions Trophy, will have the chance to practice against Pakistan during the upcoming tri-nation series, which begins on February 8 with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand.<br \/>\nBefore the start of the Champions Trophy, PCB has finalised the schedule for the opening ceremony of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, setting the stage for a grand and spectacular launch of the tournament.<br \/>\nThe ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is set to begin on February 19, will reportedly start with the opening ceremony.<br \/>\nThe opening ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium is set for February 7, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expected to attend as the chief guest.<br \/>\nOn February 11, the National Stadium in Karachi will host its opening ceremony, with President Asif Ali Zardari slated to be the guest of honour.<br \/>\nThe official opening ceremony for the Champions Trophy will take place on February 16 in Lahore at Hazoori Bagh, followed by a brief ceremony at the venue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lahore The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has devised a plan to create three separate teams of Pakistan Shaheens for practice matches ahead of the Champions Trophy.
