\nNasir Mansoor Qureshi, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), has lauded the successful conclusion of the \u201cMade in Pakistan Exhibition\u201d held in Jeddah.
\nIn a statement issued on Monday, President Qureshi expressed his satisfaction with the exhibition\u2019s positive impact, noting that it not only showcased Pakistan\u2019s diverse offerings but also brought key stakeholders together to forge stronger business partnerships.
\nHe emphasized the importance of holding similar exhibitions in other key regions, particularly the Middle East, Central Asia, ASEAN countries, and South Africa.
\n\u201cThese regions present a significant opportunity for Pakistani businesses to expand their market share. Exhibitions like this create valuable platforms for engagement, offering a chance to connect with potential buyers and partners to explore diverse business prospects,\u201d Qureshi remarked.
\nThe ICCI President further highlighted Pakistan\u2019s vast untapped potential in various sectors, including textiles, food, sports goods, pharmaceuticals, IT services, medical equipment, and more.
\nHowever, he stressed that unlocking this potential requires strong governmental support to ease the process of doing business in Pakistan. With the right infrastructure and government-backed policies, we can expand our global footprint and attract more international markets,\u201d he added.
\nAs the leading business organization in the capital, the ICCI has consistently worked to support investment growth and foster business expansion. Qureshi reaffirmed the Chamber\u2019s commitment to building stronger public-private partnerships to drive economic progress.
\nHe also expressed optimism about the role of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in organizing similar exhibitions, in collaboration with national Chambers of Commerce, to continuously promote Pakistan\u2019s businesses worldwide.
