According to the Secretary of Minerals, in the first phase of the e-auction, 52 contracts were auctioned, generating a total revenue of Rs. 2.52 billion.<br \/>\nHe termed this achievement a historic milestone and stated that this initiative would significantly increase the depart-ment?s annual revenue.<br \/>\nPervez Iqbal emphasized that the modern e-auction system would not only facilitate investors and contractors but also promote transparency and impartiality. He further stated that this initiative would help eliminate corrupt mafias and provide the business community with safe and easy investment opportunities.<br \/>\nThe Secretary of Minerals highlighted that the e-auction would open new avenues for development in the mining and minerals sector.
