\nArmy Chief Gen Syed Asim Munir celebrated Eid Al-Fitr with officers and jawans stationed at the western border.
\nOn the first day of Eid, Army Chief visited South Waziristan\u2019s Wana area and Dera Ismail Khan and participated in Eid prayers.
\nHe prayed for stability and prosperity of Pakistan. .
\nAccording to ISPR , army chief while speaking to the soldiers, said, \u201cYour determination not only keeps the nation safe, but it also serves as an example of sincere patriotism.\u201d
\nHe praised the officers and soldiers for their unshakable commitment and exemplary services, emphasising the importance of their role in securing the country\u2019s borders.
\nGen Munir commended the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their bravery in the face of terrorism.
\n\u201cThe people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have consistently demonstrated courage against the scourge of terrorism,\u201d he said.
\nArmy chief lauded the performance of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies saying the successes became possible as a result of unprecedented sacrifices of martyrs.
