\nAdvisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has stated that, following the directives of Imran Khan, the PTI leadership has spent Eid with the families of martyred workers and imprisoned party members.
\nHe said that Imran Khan is a great leader who, despite being incarcerated himself, remains deeply concerned about his party workers.
\nA true leader, he said, does not worry about himself but rather about his people, unlike Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari, who prioritize their personal interests. This, he added, is the fundamental difference between genuine and fake leaders.
\nBarrister Dr. Saif further stated that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari have historically abandoned their workers in difficult times, whereas Imran Khan has stood as a shield for his supporters during hardships. The entire nation admires Imran Khan\u2019s unwavering commitment to his people.
\nMeanwhile, in a statement issued from his office, Barrister Dr. Saif said that if the federal government is serious about addressing terrorism, it must strengthen KP economically by releasing the province\u2019s due payments, including outstanding dues from hydroelectric power and terrorism-related funds.
\nHe lamented that despite repeated reminders, the province is still being denied its rightful share.
\nHe further pointed out that while KP was battling terrorism, its financial resources are being withheld, even though terrorism is a national issue, not just a provincial one.
\nAdditionally, he criticized the non-disbursement of funds for the newly merged tribal districts after the FATA merger. He called for an end to the discriminatory treatment with KP, stressing that terrorism is a grave issue that should not be politicized.
