\nLahore Qalandars\u2019 all-rounder Sikandar Raza has expressed his excitement for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches, stating that the team is optimistic about delivering a strong performance this season.
\nSpeaking to a local news channel, Raza said that he is eagerly awaiting the start of PSL 10 and is fully prepared for the tournament. Reflecting on the previous edition, he acknowledged that the team made mistakes but is now focused on overcoming those shortcomings.
\n\u201cWe are eagerly waiting for the matches to begin, and we believe we will perform well this season,\u201d he stated.
\nRaza emphasized the importance of team unity, noting that most of the players have been playing together for a while, which has fostered a strong team culture. \u201cEveryone is like a family, which creates a great dressing room environment. Our positive team culture, both on and off the field, has played a key role in winning back-to-back titles,\u201d he added.
\nSpeaking about Rashid Khan\u2019s absence, Raza admitted that the Afghan star\u2019s presence is irreplaceable. However, he expressed confidence in the new spinner brought in as his replacement. \u201cRashid Khan is like family to us, and we wish him well. His absence will be felt, but the spinner replacing him is also talented,\u201d he said.
\nRaza praised the management, particularly Sameen Rana, for selecting a strong coaching staff and integrating new players into the squad.
\nDiscussing franchise cricket, Raza acknowledged the stature of both the PSL and IPL, stating that cricket fans eagerly follow both leagues. \u201cIt is up to us to perform well so that fans look forward to Lahore Qalandars\u2019 matches,\u201d he added.
\nOn individual performances, Raza highlighted the importance of all players contributing to the team\u2019s success.
