\nAn important meeting of tribal elders residing in Regilalma in Peshawar regarding was held on Friday in which they showed great concern over the growing activities of social evils and vowed to join hands with the authorities to curb all kind of illegal and unislamic activies in the area.
\nThe meeting was held at the residence of Haji Shahenshah Afridi, a prominent leader of the area. The meeting was attended by tribal elders and leaders from the Afridi, Shinwari, Mohmand, Khalil, Bajaur, and other tribes elders and influentials.
\nThe meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Regi Lalma Eslahi (reforms) committee Haji Shahenshah Afridi.
\nMany notable figures such as Khattak Khan Mohmand, Zahoor Khalil, Mian Noor Khan Mohmand, Zarif Khalil, former Town member Asad Shinwari, Naseem Kukikhel, Gul Ameen Mohmand, Mewa Khan Kukikhel, Fazal Dad Khalil, Abdul Rahman Afridi and others participants spoke on the occasion.
\nThe tribal elders emphasized the importance of maintaining unity and cooperation among the tribes. Haji Shahenshah Afridi thanked all the participants for attending the meeting.
\nAn official resolution was announced by the elders, stating their commitment to stand together in both good and bad times, to serve the community selflessly and to work towards the welfare and development of the region.
\nThe meeting was informed the Regi Lalma Eslahi committee was a registered committee collectively working with authorities and enjoy close liason with deputy commissioner Peshawar.
\nThe speakers highlighted the efforts of the Regi Lalma Eslahi committee supported flood victims in Charsadda and Shabqadar in the recent past.
\nThey mentioned that donations had been raised and cash and food items had been distributed in Shabqadar and other flood affected areas.
\nAdditionally, members of the Regi Lalma reforms committee regularly visit both government and private schools, raising their voices for education, health and the welfare of the poor and widows.
\nThey said everyone must cooperate law enforcement agencies especially with police to eliminate all kind of social evils.
\nIn his speech, Chairman Haji Shahenshah Afridi reiterated that the main goal of the committee was to serve the community and fight against social vices. He stressed the need to work together to curb issues such as drug addiction, street crimes and other societal problems, alongside the relevant governmental bodies to maintain peace.
\nHe also emphasized that the committee would raise its voice against any injustice faced by the residents of Regi Lalma. Afridi said they would not let any one to take shelter in their area to sabotage peace and spread drug culture in the society.
\nLastly, the elders were asked to nominate two volunteers of each clan and family to be available round the clock on call to assist the committee and contribute to public welfare at any time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
