Army Chief General Asim Munir has sent a clear message to the enemies of the state: anyone who obstructs Pakistan\u2019s path to progress will be collectively removed.
\nWhile addressing the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad, Army Chief General Asim Munir said, \u201cI am deeply moved by the emotions of Pakistanis living abroad, and I assure you that our feelings for you are even stronger.You are not only ambassadors of Pakistan, but also the light of Pakistan that shines across the world.The Army Chief said that those who propagate the narrative of brain drain should know that this is not brain drain, but brain gain \u2013 and overseas Pakistanis are the best example of this. \u201cYou all have to pass on Pakistan\u2019s story to the next generation \u2013 the story on the basis of which our forefathers struggled to establish this nation.General Asim Munir questioned, \u201cDo Pakistan\u2019s enemies really believe that a handful of terrorists can decide Pakistan\u2019s fate? Even ten generations of terrorists cannot harm Balochistan or Pakistan. Balochistan is the crown jewel of Pakistan. As long as the brave people of this country stand with their armed forces, your army can overcome any difficulty.
\nHe emphasized that Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with abundant resources, and we should always be thankful. \u201cToday, we are collectively sending a clear message: anyone who obstructs Pakistan\u2019s development, we will remove that obstacle together.Addressing overseas Pakistanis, the Army Chief said,No matter which country you live in, remember your legacy comes from a great society, ideology, and culture. As Muslims and Pakistanis, we do not fear adversity. We have never bowed down to difficulties, nor will we ever. As long as the proud people of this country support the armed forces, no one can harm Pakistan.
\nThe Army Chief also highlighted the misuse of social media and how anti-state propaganda is spread without verification. After his statement, Pakistan\u2019s enemies began to show signs of discomfort, and certain so-called journalists \u2013 who don\u2019t even understand the meaning of journalism \u2013 sitting abroad, began criticizing the Army Chief\u2019s speech.
\nTheir complaints clearly show that the enemies of the state and their agents, as referred to by the Army Chief, include such journalists.
\nHe rightly pointed out this issue because the enemy is cunning. It knows that if it can fill the minds of our youth with poison against the Pakistan Army, defeating Pakistan becomes much easier. It is crystal clear that the Pakistan Army is the defender of our borders and the guardian of the two-nation ideology.
\nThere is an ongoing campaign of ideological manipulation, and a specific group is promoting terrorists on social media. Take, for example, India, which claims to be the world\u2019s largest democracy. When you look at their situation regarding freedom of expression, many journalists who reported against the government have been imprisoned.
\nIndia has also imposed restrictions on Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp \u2013 and has even raided Twitter\u2019s offices in the past.In China, apps like Facebook and Twitter don\u2019t even operate. They have their own controlled system for social media.
\nWhen we look at neighboring countries, it becomes clear that compared to them, Pakistan offers more freedom of expression \u2013 but some people are misusing this freedom.
\nFreedom of speech does not mean airing your internal matters to the outside world under the guise of free expression. When we look at international media, they often portray Pakistan as a failed state and try to show it as a dangerous place for journalists and civilians. But the reality is the opposite.
\nThis is also part of the fifth-generation warfare \u2013 where propaganda is spread so aggressively that it starts to seem like reality. Blaming the military for every act of economic or physical aggression against journalists has become a trend. If a journalist is fired due to their own shortcomings, the military is blamed. If someone is attacked because of a personal dispute, they try to gain sympathy by blaming the military.
\nNow is the time to stand with our army and not let it be distracted from its true mission by unnecessary controversies. Propaganda is a powerful weapon of fifth-generation warfare.
\nThis is a war of ideologies, where false narratives are pushed to dominate. It\u2019s a battle not of bullets and bombs, but of minds and messages. Whoever has the stronger narrative and promotes it effectively will win this war.
\nInstead of eliminating enemy soldiers, the strategy is to neutralize them. The enemy\u2019s goal is to fill so much hate in the hearts of the Pakistani people against their own army that they begin to despise it \u2013 but this conspiracy, Insha\u2019Allah, will fail.
\nPeople have started to see through the enemy\u2019s tricks, and they will not fall into this trap. Insha\u2019Allah, the patriotic people of Pakistan will continue to support their army, and this fifth-generation war will backfire. Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir was absolutely right when he said that the people of Pakistan are the backbone of the Pakistan Army \u2013 and as long as they stand behind their army, no power in the world can harm Pakistan.<\/p>\n
