Pakistan becomes target of ridicule in the comity of nations due to untoward incidents with journalist every year.<br \/>\nWe have kept in view all stake holders while developing this App. Police and press club representatives also joined it.<br \/>\nWe kept in view opinions of the journalists in the development process. who have passed through some adverse situation.<br \/>\nOnly those journalists will have access to this App whose membership of press club is proven.<br \/>\nWe will launch this app on May 3, Press Freedom Day. Press club will be Admn of this app. Admn will conduct verification when any journalist logs in and journalist will be able to use this app after verification process.<br \/>\nIf some threat comes to any journalist and he reports it through app then press club will refer it to FIA being admn.<br \/>\nThis app will obtain statistics of untoward incidents and threats from the journalists whenever they face.<br \/>\nThe journalists can seek emergency response forthwith by pressing pink button through this app.<br \/>\nThis app has been named as journalist alert app.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD Journalist Alert App (JAA) has been carved out for protection of the journalists which will be launched on May 3.
