\nBusiness leader and former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Dr. Shahid Rasheed Butt, said on Tuesday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s strategy of orchestrating terror incidents for political gain has backfired, which has undermined his unholy agenda.
\nIn a strongly worded statement, he declared that the recent Pahalgam incident, which was allegedly orchestrated to garner sympathy ahead of elections, has been fully exposed, leaving the BJP reeling. Shahid Rasheed Butt asserted that the BJP\u2019s defeat in the forthcoming elections now seems all but certain.
\nHe added that the unwavering resolve of the Pakistan army and the fearless response of the Pakistani public have deeply unsettled the Indian leadership. Mr. Butt praised China\u2019s clear and timely support for Pakistan during this critical period, noting that it has won the hearts of the Pakistani people.
\n\u201cChina has once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to Pakistan, and the people of Pakistan recognize and value this friendship,\u201d he said. According to Butt, the Pakistani nation has shown remarkable unity in the face of external threats. \u201cRegarding national security, all political differences are set aside.
\nOur people stand united like a solid wall, resolute and with one voice,\u201d he emphasized. He also pointed out that while India accuses Pakistan without proper investigation, dissenting voices within India, including opposition politicians and even former military commanders, have begun questioning Modi\u2019s aggressive posture.
\n\u201cEveryone in India knows that as elections approach, the BJP government orchestrates some kind of false-flag operation to stir emotions,\u201d he observed. Referring to the fallout from the Pahalgam incident, he criticized India\u2019s rash actions, including the baseless accusation against Pakistan, the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, the closure of the Wagah border, and the recalling of its diplomats.
\nHe argued that these steps were intended to manipulate public sentiment in the BJP\u2019s favour, especially in the politically crucial state of Bihar, where defeat seems imminent.
