Spotify Reports Strong Q1 2025 Results, Subscriber growth was a real standout

\nSpotify released its Q1 2025 Earnings today, kicking off the year with strong momentum by outperforming across key metrics, including the highest Q1 Subscriber net adds since 2020 and a record high Operating Income.
\nSubscribers increased 12% Y\/Y to 268 million with highest Q1 net adds since 2020.
\nMonthly Active Users reached 678 million up by 10% Y\/Y.
\nTotal Revenue was up 15% Y\/Y to \u20ac4.2 billion.
\nGross Margin improved by 400 bps YoY to 31.6%.
\nOperating Income rose to \u20ac509M
\nDaniel Ek, Spotify\u2019s Founder and CEO, said: \u201cThe underlying data at the moment is very healthy: engagement remains high, retention is strong, and thanks to our freemium model, people have the flexibility to stay with us even when things feel more uncertain.
