\nA massive solidarity rally was held at the historic Bab-e-Khyber in district Khyber on Tuesday, where tribal elders, local government representatives, police, line departments and the district administration gathered to denounce Indian aggression and express unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces of Pakistsn.
\nThe solidarity with Pakistan Army came in the backdrop of rapidly escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, following a recent terrorist attack on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir.
\nIndia immediately blamed Pakistan-based groups for the incident and in a retaliatory move, launched an aerial attack during the night, claiming to target militant hideouts near the Pakistan border.
\nPakistan\u2019s military responded with precision and resolve. According to defense sources, the Pakistan Air Force downed five Indian warplanes and destroyed one brigade division, repelling the attack and targeting key Indian positions. The swift and strategic counterstrike has been hailed nationwide as a testament to the professionalism and preparedness of the armed forces.
\nDuring the rally at Bab-e-Khyber, a large number of tribal leaders, youth, political and social figures and district officials took part, waving Pakistani flags and holding banners with slogans like \u201cLong Live Pakistan,\u201d \u201cLong Live Pakistan Armed Forces,\u201d and \u201cIndian Aggression Unacceptable.\u201d The participants condemned India\u2019s hostile actions and praised the Pakistani military\u2019s heroic defense.
\nAddressing the crowd, tribal elders reaffirmed their historic loyalty to the country and its defenders.
\nThe speakers said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have always stood with their military and would never compromise on national sovereignty. They described the armed forces as the pride of the nation, lauding their courage, sacrifices, and unmatched capabilities.
\nThey further condemned India\u2019s \u201ccowardly night attack\u201d that allegedly targeted civilian areas, mosques and innocent lives. The elders expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Air Force, which they said had not only defended the homeland but also delivered a befitting reply by targeting Indian positions in response.
\nDeputy Commissioner Khyber and other senior officials also addressed the rally, stating that India\u2019s actions were aimed at destabilizing regional peace. However, they stressed that the Pakistani nation and its armed forces were fully capable of countering any threat. \u201cWe are ready at all times to defend our soil,\u201d they said.
