\nGovernor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday fully endorsed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s announcement to observe a \u201cDay of Gratitude\u201d (Youm-e-Tashakur) in recognition of the bravery of the nation\u2019s armed forces and the success of \u201cOperation Bunyan Marsoos\u201d, calling it a timely and unifying step for the country.
\nIn his message, Governor Kundi lauded Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his courageous and visionary defense of Pakistan on international media platforms during the Pak-India conflict.
\nHe said that Bilawal\u2019s articulate and bold representation projected a strong image of Pakistan and conveyed a clear message to the world: that despite political differences, the Pakistani nation stands united on matters of national defense and the principled stance on Kashmir. He termed this unity as a practical demonstration of \u201cBunyan Marsoos\u201d a solid wall of collective strength. He added that the Day of Gratitude is an acknowledgment of the valor and professional excellence displayed by Pakistan\u2019s armed forces in decisively responding to enemy aggression and safeguarding the nation.
\n\u201cThe entire nation salutes these heroic soldiers and veterans who made no compromise on the sanctity of the motherland,\u201d he said.
\nGovernor Kundi also highlighted the unwavering support of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that they proudly honor their brave sons on this day.
\nHe said that KP residents, whether at home or abroad, bow their heads in prayer, take pride in their armed forces, and continue to pray for the peace, stability, and progress of Pakistan.
\nGovernor Kundi condemns Chamkani attack on police
\nGovernor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday strongly condemned the attack on the police mobile in the jurisdiction of Chamkani Police Station here near the livestock market.
\nHe paid tribute to the martyred Sub-Inspector Laiq Zada Khan and Constable Alamzeb, saying that they embraced martyrdom in the line of duty and their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Governor Kundi said that such cowardly terrorist acts cannot shake our determination, and the fight against terrorism will continue with full force.
