\nDespite war like situation and heightened tensions with India and attempts to undermine Pakistan\u2019s economy, the country\u2019s cargo operations have continued without interruption. The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Chairman, Faheemur Rehman Saigol, who is also presently Acting Chairman of the KPT commended the Karachi Port Trust team, the technical staff, and the military for their tireless efforts to keep the country\u2019s ports fully operational amid these challenging circumstances.
\nPakistan\u2019s ports are a critical part of the nation\u2019s infrastructure, playing a central role in facilitating trade and commerce. In recent times, with rising geopolitical tensions, there were external attempts to disrupt these operations, but the resilience shown by Pakistan\u2019s port operators, supported by the military\u2019s strategic security efforts, has proven to be unmatched.
\nPIAF Chairman expressed appreciation for the seamless handling of cargo operations, emphasizing the commitment of KPT\u2019s staff and other stakeholders. \u201cWhile India claims that Pakistan\u2019s ports have been destroyed, these allegations are baseless. The operations have continued without a second\u2019s pause, proving that our ports remain a vital part of the global trade network,\u201d the KPT Acting chairman stated. \u201cThese actions show the strength of Pakistan\u2019s economy and the dedication of the people who work relentlessly to keep it moving forward.\u201d PIAF Chairman Faheemur Rehman Saigol further highlighted the critical role played by Pakistan\u2019s armed forces, particularly the Navy and Army, in defending the country\u2019s economic infrastructure. \u201cDespite limited resources and a weaker economy, Pakistan\u2019s military has stepped up to safeguard our ports and ensure that the nation\u2019s lifelines remain intact. Their courage and dedication in the face of external threats are commendable,\u201d Saigol added. We stand united with our armed forces to protect Pakistan\u2019s economic sovereignty,\u201d Mughal stated.
\nTahir Manzoor Chaudhry, Vice Chairman of PIAF, emphasized the role of the business community in defending the country\u2019s economic frontiers. \u201cJust as the army defends our physical borders, we, the businessmen and traders, protect Pakistan\u2019s economic boundaries.
