PCB proposes to restart matches in Rawalpindi, hosts final in Lahore

\nThe remainders of Pakistan Super League 10 matches are tentatively scheduled to be played from May 17 to 25, with discussions ongoing over venue and player availability.
\nFranchises have recommended holding all remaining matches at a single venue, either Lahore or Rawalpindi, to ease logistical challenges. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has, however, proposed restarting in Rawalpindi and hosting the final in Lahore.
\nMeanwhile, teams are confirming participation with their foreign players. While some have agreed to return, franchises and the PSL management are working on contingency plans if the full roster isn\u2019t met.
\nOptions include a replacement draft or relaxing the league\u2019s mandatory foreign-player rule for the remaining games.
\nA final decision is expected by tonight.
\nThe PCB had announced the indefinite postponement of the remaining eight matches of the PSL Season 10 in light of the deteriorating regional security situation.
\nThe postponement came when the PSL 10 was in its final stage, with only eight matches remaining.
\nAfter 27 matches, Quetta Gladiators, already qualified for the playoffs, led the points table with six wins, two losses, and one no result from nine matches.
\nKarachi Kings are in second place with 10 points, having secured five wins and three losses in eight matches. Defending champions Islamabad United sit in third position, with 10 points, following five wins and four losses from nine games.
\nLahore Qalandars are in fourth place with nine points, having secured four wins, four losses, and one no-result. Peshawar Zalmi are in fifth position with eight points from four wins in nine matches.
