\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture, Major (Retd) Sajjad Barkwal, strongly responded to remarks made by the Opposition Leader during a recent press conference, declaring that \u201cthe Opposition is fighting a battle they cannot win in their lifetime.\u201d
\nTaking aim at the Opposition Leader\u2019s criticism, the provincial minister remarked, \u201cIf the Opposition Leader reflects on his own brother\u2019s tenure, he would realize that the real FIR should be registered against him.\u201d
\nCommenting on the federal government\u2019s handling of the recent Swat incident, Barkwal asserted, \u201cIt is not the federation\u2019s job merely to inform; both the federal and provincial governments are responsible for taking timely and effective action.\u201d
\nHe further criticized the Opposition Leader\u2019s attitude, saying, \u201cIn their mind, Islamabad is a destination for luxury and leisure. Their perception of others is shaped by the conduct of their own leaders.\u201d
\nOn the controversy surrounding helicopter availability during floods, Barkwal noted, \u201cThe provincial government spokesperson has already clarified the matter. But if the Opposition Leader questions the helicopter\u2019s timing from Peshawar, they should also disclose Islamabad\u2019s response time.\u201d
\nDefending PTI\u2019s leadership, Barkwal said, \u201cOur leader Imran Khan is in jail for crimes he never committed, while your leader fled to London on a fifty-rupee stamp paper, citing a platelet drop from a luxury jail.\u201d He added, \u201cThe dream of becoming Chief Minister should be abandoned by the Opposition Leader. PTI parliamentarians stand united and steadfast behind the Chief Minister.\u201d
\nReacting to the Opposition Leader\u2019s alleged use of inappropriate language against the provincial government, Barkwal stated, \u201cSuch remarks reflect a lack of political training and amount to an insult to the public\u2019s mandate.\u201d
\nHe concluded by saying, \u201cThe public has already rejected the Opposition Leader\u2019s political immaturity by voting them out\u2014despite their refuge in Form 47.
