Addressing a meeting of medical officers, he made it clear that employees unwilling to perform their responsibilities should seek transfers elsewhere. Dr. Israr stressed that ensuring the presence of hospital staff was his responsibility and that the hospital will no longer operate under outdated and ineffective practices. He pledged to restore the true functional identity of the hospital. He revealed that significant improvements have already been initiated, including the installation of clean and cool drinking water facilities, an upgraded sanitation system, and the transparent procurement of medicines through open bidding for the first time in the hospital\u2019s history. A digital patient record system has also been introduced to ensure accountability and enhance service delivery. Emergency patients, he added, will now be treated within the hospital premises with all necessary facilities available, reducing the need for referrals to other cities.
