PESHAWAR: The Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ) has strongly condemned the alleged abduction of Peshawar based reporter Irshadullah Khan from his residence by unidentified individuals and criticized the police for failing to register a First Information Report (FIR) in the incident. The union has called on the provincial government to take immediate notice and ensure the journalist\u2019s safe return. In a statement issued from the union\u2019s office, KhUJ President Kashifuddin Syed, General Secretary Irshad Ali, and other office-bearers expressed serious concern over the incident. According to Irshadullah\u2019s brother, unidentified individuals in plain clothes forcibly entered their home during the night and abducted the journalist. The assailants, whose faces were covered, reportedly behaved aggressively with the family.
