Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has proved itself as the leading distribution company of the power sector based on excellent performance and unmatched results during the financial year 2024-2025.<\/p>\n
According to details given in report at the end of the financial year 2023-2024 Transmission and distribution losses were 8.75 % brought to 8.39 % at the end of the financial year 2024-2025.<\/p>\n
The collection of electricity bills which was 98.2 % during closing of the FY 2023-2024 have been recorded 100% by the end of FY 2024-2025.<\/p>\n
As a result of reduction in line losses and an increase in billing collection IESCO saved a handsome amount of Rs. 14.7 billion which is a remarkable achievement by IESCO formations<\/p>\n
IESCO teams also ensured installation and timely billing of 0.2 million new electricity connection of different tariffs during said period.<\/p>\n
The Chairman IESCO Dr. Tahir Masood and IESCO board members have praised the outstanding performance of Chief Executive IESCO Muhammad Naeem Jan and all the officers and staff members especially field formations. They dedicated these results to tireless efforts of all formation of IESCO and said that these results have definitely been achieved due to an excellent teamwork and effective strategy.<\/p>\n
The Chairman IESCO Dr Tahir Masood paid regards to the Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division) Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Laghari and his team for their leadership, vision and confidence to guide us in achieving good performance and best results.<\/p>\n
He said that Alhamdulillah, the vision and thinking of IESCO Board of Directors and IESCO Management has always been to serve Pakistan, valuable Customers and welfare of IESCO employees<\/p>\n
Dr. Tahir Masood further said that the ongoing indiscriminate crackdown against electricity theft , defaulters, timely maintenance of power distribution system Timely and accurate meter reading and efficient use of advanced technology are also a major reason for IESCO’s current excellent results. and,<\/p>\n
