Manchester United will pay Brentford \u00a365 million guaranteed, with a further \u00a36 million in add-ons

\nManchester United have reached an agreement with Brentford for the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo, with the deal reportedly worth upto \u00a371 million altogether. The Cameroon international could undergo his medical at Old Trafford before joining the squad for their pre-season tour of the United States, which is set to depart on Tuesday, 22 July.
\nMbeumo, 25, is poised to become United\u2019s third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of forward Matheus Cunha and left-back Diego Leon. United initially bid \u00a355 million in early June, followed by a second offer of \u00a362.5 million, both of which were rejected.
\nHowever, Brentford have now accepted the latest bid, which is \u00a365 million guaranteed along with \u00a36 million in add-ons, as per The Athletic\u2019s David Ornstein.
\nSince joining Brentford from Lorient in 2019, Mbeumo has established himself as one of the Premier League\u2019s most promising attacking talents.
\nHis career-best figures last season included top performances in goals, assists, chances created, and touches in the opposition box. He finished the season with an impressive shot conversion rate of 23.53%, ranking just behind Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak in clinical finishing.
\nMbeumo\u2019s work off the ball is also notable. He won possession 32 times in the opposition third, ranking third among Premier League players.
\nPerhaps most impressive, however, was his ability to drive forward with the ball. He was responsible for nine carries of over five metres that directly resulted in goals, the highest number of any Premier League player last season, as reported by BBC.
