Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has issued a heartfelt message on Kashmir Accession Day (Youm-e-Ilhaq-e-Kashmir), paying tribute to the unwavering spirit of the Kashmiri people and reaffirming Pakistan\u2019s commitment to their right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
\u201cKashmir Accession Day is the dawn in history when the people of Kashmir rejected Dogra rule and chose Pakistan as their political and spiritual destination,\u201d said Naqvi. He recalled that on July 19, 1947, Kashmiris made a decision that could not be erased by the dust of time, the fog of tyranny, or the sound of gunfire.<\/p>\n
Quoting Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Naqvi said: \u201cKashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan,\u201d a declaration that remains central to the country\u2019s national consciousness even today.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that the spirit of 1947 still echoes in Kashmir\u2019s mountains and valleys, raised by the unarmed yet valiant Kashmiris who chose to align their destiny with Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Despite Indian military oppression, draconian laws, and human rights violations, Kashmiris have stood firm in their devotion to Pakistan. \u201cEven through prisons, silenced voices, and dug-up graves, India has failed to remove Pakistan from the hearts of Kashmiris,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On this solemn occasion, Naqvi saluted the martyrs of Kashmir, who valued their ideological bond with Pakistan more than their own lives. He also lamented the continued silence and double standards of the international community, saying that UN resolutions still await the awakening of global conscience to grant Kashmiris their rightful plebiscite.<\/p>\n
\u201cKashmir Accession Day is a mirror to the world, reflecting its silence and hypocrisy,\u201d he stated. \u201cIt is also a day of renewed commitment\u2014Kashmiris\u2019 sacrifices are a trust upon us, and the only repayment is freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n
Naqvi expressed hope, saying: \u201cThe day is not far when India will be forced to bow before the just demands of Kashmiris.\u201d He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue its diplomatic, moral, and political support for the Kashmiri people in their struggle for freedom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
