\nThe Pakistan Global Taekwondo Team departed from Peshawar International Airport late Sunday night, heading to Dubai to participate in the upcoming World Global Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to begin on July 22.
\nThis prestigious international event is being hosted by the International Global Taekwondo Federation, drawing participation from male and female athletes across the globe.
\nThe national squad is composed of talented, energetic, and dedicated young athletes who have undergone rigorous training under the supervision of professional coaches and the team management. The players are reportedly in excellent form and brimming with confidence.
\nLeading the team is Masood Afridi, Secretary General of the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation and a renowned athlete himself.
\nAfridi has not only focused on refining the technical skills of the players but has also instilled in them the fighting spirit and determination required to compete at the international level.
\nBefore departure, the athletes expressed their firm resolve to return home with medals, driven by the nation\u2019s prayers and their own hard work. \u201cWe are fully prepared and committed to making Pakistan proud on the global stage,\u201d said one of the team members.
