\nChairman of the Pakistan Nazriyati Party (PNP), Shaheer Haider Malik Sialvi Saturday exposed India for its cultural and linguistic genocide of Kashmiris, accusing India of distorting the education system by altering school syllabuses, replacing teachers and renaming cities that reflect Islamic heritage.
\nIn an exclusive conversation with state news channel, Chairman of the Pakistan Nazriyati Party (PNP) strongly condemned India\u2019s ongoing demographic manipulation in Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Sialvi accused India of using systematic educational changes as part of a broader effort to alter the region\u2019s demographic composition.
\nHe highlighted how India\u2019s policies, such as the implementation of new residency laws and the settlement of non-local populations, are strategically designed to undermine the Muslim-majority identity of the region.
\nThese moves, according to Sialvi, are intended to shift the social and political dynamics of Kashmir, making it easier for India to exert control and dilute the region\u2019s distinct cultural and religious heritage, he added.
\nSialvi also linked these demographic changes to the manipulation of Kashmiri children\u2019 s education, asserting that India is deliberately distorting the curriculum to sever Kashmiris from their roots.
\nBy changing textbooks to remove references to Islamic history, culture and the region\u2019s indigenous identity, Sialvi claimed that India is attempting to \u201creprogram\u201d the minds of young Kashmiris, leading them to adopt a new, alien identity.
\nHe argued that this educational manipulation is a calculated part of India\u2019s larger agenda to assimilate Kashmiris and erase their connection to their Islamic heritage, making it easier to implement demographic changes without resistance.
\nThe Chairman further pointed out that these combined efforts, altering the education system and changing the region\u2019s demographic makeup represent a direct threat to the cultural and religious fabric of Kashmir.
\nHe warned that the ongoing attempts to change the demographics and educational landscape in IIOJK are not only an assault on Kashmiri children\u2019 s identity but a calculated move to suppress the region\u2019s heritage.
