LAHORE: Decision has been taken to lift ban on sui gas connection all over the country. Gas connection will be given on the basis of LNG instead of natural gas. As per media reports Sui Northern Company has sent proposals to federation for providing connections on the basis of LNG. Proposal was given to obtain heavy security for providing connection on LNG. It has been proposed that stamp paper be obtained from consumers before issuance of demand notice of connection. According to sources the consumers will give undertaking on stamp paper for obtaining connection on LNG tariff. Affidavit will be taken about not challenging the LNG tariff on any platform.
