Chairperson Samina Mumtaz Zehri was also briefed about the condition of the injured miners by hospital staff. A number of miners lost their lives, while many sustained critical injuries in the tragic coal mine blast in the Harnai coal mine area.
\nDuring her visit, she met with the injured workers undergoing treatment and expressed solidarity with their families. She conveyed her heartfelt sympathies to those affected by the incident, acknowledging the difficult circumstances faced by the victims and their loved ones.
\nSenator Samina Mumtaz Zehri emphasized that labourers are the backbone of the country\u2019s economy, and their safety must be regarded as a priority. She called for a transparent and thorough investigation into the incident to determine the underlying causes and ensure accountability.
