\nAwami National Party (ANP) Central President and Senator Aimal Wali Khan visited the flood-affected areas of Buner on Thursday, where he met families of the deceased, inquired about the injured, and expressed solidarity with the victims.
\nDuring his visit, he inspected the campuses of the Khudai Khidmatgar Organization and Al-Khidmat Foundation, where relief activities for flood victims were underway.
\nSpeaking to the media, Aimal Wali Khan strongly criticized the role of Deputy Commissioners of Buner and Swat, accusing them of pressuring relief agencies to distribute aid through PTI local government representatives. He praised the efforts of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Khudai Khidmatgar Organization, and other humanitarian groups, vowing that neither a DC nor the provincial government could undermine their relief work.
\n\u201cThe ANP stands with the affected people and will continue to raise their voice at every forum,\u201d he asserted.
\nThe ANP leader also lashed out at the government and state institutions for failing to develop a flood strategy despite recurring disasters each year. He accused the NDMA and PDMA of restricting themselves to \u201cpicture briefings,\u201d while people remain vulnerable and helpless.
\nAimal Wali further alleged that the federal government was withholding assets of KP\u2019s rescue institutions and condemned the freezing of Khudai Khidmatgar Organization\u2019s bank account in Buner, as well as threats to its relief camps in Buner and Peshawar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
