\nIn his keynote address, Shauket emphasized that real estate must transcend bricks and mortar. \u201cReal estate is not just about concrete and glass \u2014 it\u2019s about communities, our planet, and the legacy we leave behind. Sustainability is no longer an option; it is the price of admission to the future,\u201d he said.
\nHe highlighted ESG principles \u2014 Environmental, Social, and Governance\u2014as the blueprint for the sector\u2019s evolution. On the environmental front, he advocated for green buildings, the integration of renewable energy, and architectural designs that align with natural surroundings. Socially, he emphasized the creation of inclusive spaces that promote a sense of belonging among all residents. From a governance perspective, he stressed the need for transparency, accountability, and adherence to ethical business practices.
\nShauket delivered a clear and compelling message to the industry, urging stakeholders to prioritize long-term impact over short-term gains. \u201cProfit is temporary. Purpose is permanent.
