\nAn important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Swat, Saleem Jan Marwat, to review coordination and the effectiveness of relief measures for flood victims. The meeting discussed in detail the immediate rehabilitation of the affected families and the formulation of a comprehensive action plan, a handout said.
\nThe statement said that the session was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance) Syed Noman Ali Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief and Human Rights) Naimatullah Khan, as well as representatives of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Islamic Relief Organization, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Lasona Organization, UNICEF, Sarhad Rural Support Program, and other welfare bodies.
\nParticipants emphasized that the needs of the flood victims should be given top priority and that relief items must be distributed according to their actual requirements to ensure effective and fruitful assistance.
