\nThe United Nations Secretary-General Ant\u00f3nio Guterres has officially appointed Muniba Mazari \u2014 UN Women National Goodwill Ambassador, renowned public speaker, artist, and human rights advocate \u2014 as a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) advocate on 24 March 2025.
\nThis prestigious appointment recognizes Muniba Mazari\u2019s unwavering commitment to promoting inclusion, gender equality, and social justice, both in Pakistan and globally. In this role, she will join a distinguished group of global leaders and influencers, including the Prime Minister of Barbados, H.E. Mia Mottley, and Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium working to raise awareness, inspire action, and mobilize support for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
\nIn his official letter, the Secretary-General commended Ms. Mazari\u2019s inspirational leadership, stating: \u201cMuniba is an inspiration to many and a prominent voice on inclusion and gender equality.
