RAHIM YAR KHAN: The Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) recently hosted a lecture on \u201cSustainable Debt Management\u201d by Professor Ahmed Jamal Pirzada of the School of Economics at the University of Bristol, UK. The event, organized by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at KFUEIT in collaboration with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), was held for the KFUEIT Innovators Group (KING). Professor Pirzada\u2019s lecture provided valuable insights into how countries can effectively manage their debt, including approaches for working with international funding agencies like the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He detailed the various risks and uncertainties involved in debt management and highlighted the significant influence of factors such as political economy, the growth-real interest ratio, and exchange rate fluctuations. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rahim Yar Khan, Mr. M. Irfan Anwer, who served as the Chief Guest. Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahzad Murtaza welcomed all attendees and emphasized the importance of such academic discussions.
