\nAdditional Inspector General of Police (Operations), Muhammad Ali Babakhel, has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Force is fully capable of tackling every challenge, upholding a proud legacy of courage, bravery, and sacrifice in the face of adversity.
\nHe made these remarks while addressing an awards and commendation ceremony held at the Central Police Office, Peshawar, where officers and personnel from various units were honored for their outstanding performance in the line of duty.
\nOfficers and personnel from Peshawar, Khyber, CTD Bannu, Elite Force Dera Ismail Khan, and Police Training Schools in Swabi, Swat, and Buner were awarded cash prizes and citation certificates for their exceptional service against criminals, terrorists, and miscreants.
\nThe ceremony was attended by senior police officials including Additional IGs Commandant Elite Tahir Khan, Training First Khan, Investigation Muhammad Alam Shinwari, and Director Public Relations KP Police, Prince Kokab Farooq.
\nIn his address, Additional IG Babakhel lauded the award recipients for their unmatched courage, dedication, and discipline. He emphasized that discipline is the foundation of the police force\u2019s reputation and dignity.
\n\u201cThe police uniform is not just a dress\u2014it is a symbol of commitment, trust, and responsibility,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen an officer wears the uniform, it must reflect honesty, bravery, and a spirit of public service.\u201d
\nHe added that the KP Police has consistently won public trust through its high standards of performance and professionalism. Those who elevate the honor and prestige of the force are its true assets, playing a critical role in maintaining law and order and eradicating crime.
\nSpecial praise was given to CTD Bannu for their professionalism and strategic action against the TTP\u2019s Zarar Group during the terrorist attack on Miryan Police Station, resulting in the elimination and injury of several terrorists. Similarly, officers from the Elite Force in DI Khan were recognized for their bravery in counter-terrorism operations.
\nPersonnel who performed exceptionally in maintaining law and order in Peshawar, as well as administrative staff in Khyber district and police training institutions, were also honored for their integrity and diligence.
\nAdministrative officers, training staff, and instructors from Police Training Schools in Swabi, Buner, and Swat were awarded for their excellence in discipline, law instruction, and physical training.
