ISLAMABAD: As part of the forthcoming \u201cNational Subsistence Farmers Support Scheme\u201d launched by the Government of Pakistan, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) is collaborating with Agricultural Service Providers to ensure small farmers have access to high-quality inputs, modern farm machinery, and expert crop advisory services. On September 10, 2025, a landmark ceremony at ZTBL\u2019s Head Office marked the signing of agreements with prominent companies, including Four Brothers Agri Services Pakistan, FB Genetics (Pvt.) Limited, Four Brothers Biologic AG Pakistan, FB Farms, Glee International, Plant4life (Pvt.) Ltd., Sarmik Best Crops (Pvt.) Ltd., Auriga Chemicals Enterprises, Madina Traders, and Arham Traders. The President of ZTBL, reaffirming his commitment to supporting small and subsistence farmers, welcomed the partner companies and emphasized that uplifting this underserved segment is essential for transforming Pakistan\u2019s agriculture. He highlighted the critical role of Agricultural Service Providers, noting that 96% of Pakistan\u2019s farmers are smallholders with less than 12.5 acres. These farmers often lack the resources to access or operate expensive machinery, quality inputs, and effective extension services, which limits agricultural productivity.
