Fazal Moqeem terms agreement to foster mutual cooperation in research and development, SCCI launches vigorous campaign to enhance collaboration with various institutions

\nSarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Khyber Medical University have joined hands to jointly promote Industry-academic linkages, research and transfer of knowledge and expertise.
\nIn this regard, an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by SCCI President Fazal Moqeem Khan and KMU Vice Chancellor Dr Ziaul Haq during a meeting held at the university, said in a statement here on Monday.
\nDuring the singing event, SCCI Senior Vice President Abdul Jalil Jan, senior member of the chamber\u2019s executive committee Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan, KMU officials and others were present.
\nAccording to the agreement, both sides would carry out joint research and collaborate to strengthen industry-academia cooperation and relations and take benefits from each other\u2019s expertise and knowledge.
\nSCCI President Fazal Moqeem Khan remarked that the agreement was a milestone toward strengthening Industry-academia linkage and cooperation.
\nHe informed that SCCI has initiated a vigorous campaign to enhance collaboration with government, semi-government and private institutions by signing mutual agreements and today\u2019s event was part of these efforts.
\nKMU Vice Chancellor Dr Zia ur Haq spoke on the occasion, welcoming the signing of agreement with SCCI, stating that KMU is a leading medical institution, which has played an important role in promotion of medical education and research in the province.
\nDr Zia hoped that the agreement would play a pivotal role in enhancing collaboration with industries and assured that KMU is ready to extend all kinds of cooperation to facilitate joint research and other ventures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
