PTI to hold rally in Peshawar on Sept 27 for founding chairman\u2019s release

\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared that the September 27 rally in Peshawar will mark a historic milestone in the ongoing struggle for the release of Imran Khan and the pursuit of real freedom. Addressing preparations for the massive public gathering, the CM emphasized national unity and called the rally a defining chapter in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf\u2019s (PTI) movement. According to a statement a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Gandapur was held in Peshawar to finalize the preparations and strategy for the PTI rally scheduled on September 27.
\nThe meeting was attended by officials of the PTI District Committee, with detailed consultations conducted regarding the arrangements, security, and public mobilization for the event. The Chief Minister\u2019s spokesperson, Faraz Mughal, was appointed as the focal person for the rally.
\nThe rally, which is being organized near the Ring Road Motorway Chowk in Peshawar, is set to begin at 4 PM. Special arrangements will be made for welcoming participants and collective prayers during the event.
\nDescribing the rally as \u201chistoric,\u201d Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said it would not only send a strong message in support of Imran Khan\u2019s release but would also symbolize a renewed commitment to the cause of true freedom in Pakistan.
\n\u201cThis rally is a continuation of the struggle for real freedom. Under the leadership of Imran Khan, the nation is fighting for its rights,\u201d Gandapur stated. \u201cIf the nation stands united, no force can stop the path to freedom.\u201d He further added, \u201cThis movement is not just political, it is a struggle for justice, for the future of our people. Everyone must come together to strengthen Imran Khan\u2019s movement.\u201d
\nCalling on the public to participate in large numbers, CM Gandapur said the Peshawar rally would become a historic chapter in PTI\u2019s journey and a landmark in the fight for national dignity and independence.
\nKP CM chairs health deptt meeting
\n A meeting of the Health Department was held on Monday at the Chief Minister\u2019s Secretariat, Peshawar, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. The session reviewed in detail the six-month performance of the Healthcare Commission.
\nThe meeting was attended by Advisor to the CM on Health, Ehtesham Ali, Secretary Health, Shahidullah, and senior officials of the Health Department and Healthcare Commission. Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the Commission\u2019s performance from January to June 2025, noting that all decisions taken in the previous meeting chaired by the Chief Minister had been implemented. To enhance the Commission\u2019s capacity, 24 new inspectors have been recruited, and 10 new regional offices established. The licensing rules have also been approved by the provincial cabinet to further strengthen the Commission\u2019s legal framework. As of December 2024, there were 18,911 registered private health facilities in the province, while an additional 1,218 facilities were registered during the past six months. In line with the government\u2019s directives, strict action has been taken against substandard and illegal facilities. Between January and June, the Commission carried out 7,474 inspections, issued notices to 2,692 facilities, temporarily sealed 1,218, and permanently shut down 395. Fines were imposed on 977 facilities.
\nThe Commission also launched a large-scale awareness campaign for the public and service providers. Over the six-month period, 448 complaints regarding private health facilities were received, all of which were resolved.
\nExpressing satisfaction with the overall performance of the Commission, the Chief Minister directed further improvements. He stressed that public health remains a top priority of the provincial government and would not be compromised under any circumstances.
