\nThe Higher Education Commission (HEC), through its National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), inaugurated the fourth training cohort for its senior officers at the Civil Services Academy (CSA), Walton Campus, Lahore. The opening session was graced by the worthy Executive Director HEC, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, as the Chief Guest.
\nOn his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Director General CSA. During the ceremony, Mr. Shabbir Ahmed Zaidi presented an overview of the HEC training initiative, highlighting the progress of the previous three cohorts, the objectives of CSA, and the broader purpose of this collaboration.
\nThis initiative was originally introduced under the vision of Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, who emphasised that HEC employees should be provided the best opportunity to benefit from the CSA which is the apex training institution for the civil servants of Pakistan. Expressing satisfaction at the successful completion of three cohorts and the commencement of the fourth, Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum noted that this achievement reflects a strong commitment to the professional development of HEC officers.
