\nLAHORE: Punjab Public awareness and Dissemination of Information Bill-2025 has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC).
\nPetition has been filed by citizen Ashba Kamran in LHC making Punjab government and others respondents. The petitioner has taken plea that Punjab government has not met legal norms while making legislation. It is requested that court should nullify Punjab public awareness and dissemination of Information Bill-2025 declaring it in conflict with the constitution. It has been further requested in the petition that court should stop implementation of act till the final decision of the petition besides ordering to stop ongoing projects under the act and their funds.
