\nMuhammad Asim Khan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Elementary and Secondary Education, has formally assumed charge of the Education Ministry. On this occasion, various delegations congratulated him on taking over the portfolio and extended their best wishes.
\nSpeaking to the delegations, Muhammad Asim Khan said that he would strive to fulfill the trust placed in him by his leader Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.
\nHe added that reforms will be introduced in the education department in line with Imran Khan\u2019s vision and Chief Minister Gandapur\u2019s roadmap of good governance, ensuring the provision of quality educational facilities to every child of the province at their doorstep.
\nHe stated that bringing out-of-school children into schools and providing quality education to enrolled students would be his top priority.
\nHe further emphasized that education is the fundamental right of every individual, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is giving it the highest priority by introducing revolutionary initiatives.
\nMuhammad Asim Khan also highlighted that resolving teachers\u2019 issues is among his foremost priorities. Measures will be taken to overcome the shortage of teachers and provide them with training aligned with modern requirements.
\nHe stressed that merit and transparency will not be compromised in any case. All recruitment, transfers, and postings of teachers will be strictly merit-based. Furthermore, digitization will be introduced in the education department and its subsidiary institutions.
\nReforms will also be implemented across all educational boards of the province to facilitate students, including the expansion of SLO-based examinations to all boards, along with the merit-based appointment of examination staff through a transparent draw system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
