\nThe district administration Lahore, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Musa Raza, removed 932 encroachments and 2,257 illegal banners and flexes in a single day during a large-scale anti-encroachment operation conducted across various roads and markets.
\nThe operation, led by Metropolitan Officer Regulation Kashif Jalil and his teams, was carried out as part of the ongoing campaign to make Lahore completely free of encroachments. The confiscated material was seized on the spot, and several public thoroughfares were cleared, resulting in improved traffic flow and widened roads.
\nDeputy Commissioner Lahore said that the campaign is being carried out in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Sharif to restore the city\u2019s original beauty and ensure smooth mobility for citizens. He said that a zero-tolerance policy against encroachment mafia will be implemented across the board and the operation will continue until all illegal structures are removed.
\nHe added that the restoration of public spaces and improvement in citizens\u2019 quality of life remain among the top priorities of the administration. Citizens have been advised to register complaints through the control room number 0307-0002345 or via the official social media platforms of the Deputy Commissioner Office. \u201cThe law is equal for all, and no one is above the law,\u201d the DC asserted.
\nMeanwhile, DC Syed Musa Raza conducted an early morning inspection of Tehsil Ravi, reviewing administrative affairs in Begum Kot, Jaranwala Road, and Sagian areas. He directed WASA, MCL, and LWMC to ensure coordinated efforts for efficient sewerage, drainage, and daily cleanliness operations.
