{"id":507045,"date":"2025-10-07T01:10:28","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T20:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=507045"},"modified":"2025-10-07T01:10:28","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T20:10:28","slug":"over-1-6m-patients-received-free-treatment-on-healthcard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/over-1-6m-patients-received-free-treatment-on-healthcard\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 1.6m patients received free treatment on healthcard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report<br \/>\nPESHAWAR<br \/>\nAdvisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the revolutionary Sehat Card Plus program continues its successful journey at a rapid pace.<br \/>\nDuring the past one and a half years of the present government, more than 1.67 million patients have received free medical treatment, with a total expenditure of Rs57 billion incurred on providing free healthcare facilities to the public.<br \/>\nHe stated that 276 patients have so far benefitted from transplant and cochlear implant facilities, while free treatment was available in 158 hospitals across the province and 700 hospitals nationwide.<br \/>\nBarrister Dr. Saif further said that under Sehat Card Plus, treatments for critical and costly diseases such as kidney and liver transplants and bone marrow transplants are being provided free of cost. He added that through the jwandun Card, free medicines for OPD patients have also been introduced.<br \/>\nThe free OPD service under the jwandun Card has been launched from District Mardan and will soon be expanded to other districts of the province.<br \/>\nHe emphasized that Sehat Card Plus is, in the truest sense, a public welfare initiative.<br \/>\nThe provincial government was fully committed to providing dignified and quality healthcare services to its citizens.<br \/>\nBarrister Dr. Saif added that the provincial government has set a new benchmark for public service, and the revolutionary Sehat Card Plus program stands as a guarantee of service, protection, and healing.<br \/>\nHe said that millions of families across the province were benefiting from free and quality medical treatment through this flagship program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report PESHAWAR Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the revolutionary Sehat Card Plus program continues its successful journey at a rapid pace.
