In a landmark move to strengthen Pakistan\u2019s digital economy, the Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme (PMYP), in collaboration with Stanford University, launched a new initiative aimed at empowering youth with modern technological and financial tools.
\nThe launch ceremony was addressed by Chairman PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who emphasized that the government is actively promoting the concept of a digital economy to equip young Pakistanis for the future. He said that the initiative is part of a broader vision to build a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and technology.
\nHighlighting the key features of the initiative, Rana Mashhood announced the introduction of the Digital Wallet as a revolutionary step designed to provide ease and financial convenience to overseas Pakistanis. He stated that the wallet will enable users to safely transfer money, ensuring secure and transparent international transactions.
\nHe further explained that up to one million dollars can be legally transferred through this platform, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan\u2019s journey toward financial digitization. Rana Mashhood said this initiative will not only enhance financial inclusion but also reflect the government\u2019s commitment to leveraging innovation for national development.<\/p>\n
The Chairman noted that overseas Pakistanis can now contribute more effectively to the country\u2019s development through this secure and efficient system. He added that youth are Pakistan\u2019s most valuable asset, and the government is determined to make the country\u2019s future bright by creating opportunities that combine technology, innovation, and global collaboration.
\nHe said the partnership with Stanford University will open new avenues for learning, entrepreneurship, and digital advancement, empowering Pakistani youth to participate in the rapidly evolving global economy.
