\nThe Military Lands & Cantonments (ML&C) Department has formally compiled and submitted its comprehensive reform document titled \u201cFIXING THE SYSTEM, FUELING THE FUTURE: REFORMS OF ML&C, INITIATIVES AND TRANSPARENCY TRANSFORMATION.\u201d
\nThese achievements and reforms were led under the vision and direction of Director General Military Lands & Cantonments, Major General Irfan Ahmed Malik, HI(M), whose leadership has been central to driving this transformation agenda and institutionalizing sustainable change.
\nThe report was recently presented to Secretary Defence, Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, HI(M), who appreciated and commended the work wholeheartedly. He acknowledged the outcomes as a roadmap that will steer the future course of department.
\nThis report encapsulates the institutional progress of department, structural reforms, and governance transformation over the past two years.
\nThis document consolidates achievements across major domains, including: Digital governance and automation, financial transparency and accountability frameworks, human resource restructuring and performance-based mechanisms, infrastructure modernization and service delivery upgrades and standardization of policies and citizen facilitation initiatives.
\nThese interventions have reshaped operational ethos of the department, aligning it with the principles of efficiency, integrity, transparency, and public trust.
\nData-driven decision systems, policy harmonization, and measurable field-level accountability have been embedded to ensure responsive and equitable governance. Though this journey remains a work in progress, the past two years have served as a critical diagnostic and corrective phase.
\nThe initial interventions have yielded tremendous results, laying strong institutional foundations for sustained transformation. The department emphasizes that continuity of direction and resolve is essential to consolidate these gains and advance long-term goals.
