\nForeign Office (FO) has said Pakistan reserves its right to act in its self defence and there is no need of telling or seeking permission from any one.
\nFO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said this in his weekly press briefing here Friday.
\nHe brushed aside the allegations leveled by Afghanistan terming them baseless and misguiding.
\nPakistan expresses grave concern over the aggression by Fitna al-Khawarij\u201d and \u201cFitna al-Hindustan.\u201d
\nPakistan exercised its right to act in its self defence and it endeavored fully that no harm is caused to any civilian during it.
\nInterim ceasefire was observed on the request of Taliban regime. This interim ceasefire took place for 48 hours with mutual willingness.
\nHe held Taliban regime should implement its assurance for not allowing its territory to be used against Pakistan.
\nHe said Pakistan has expressed its reservations on joint communiqu\u00e9 by India and Afghanistan.
\nHe said secretary Amna Baloch gave briefing to foreign ambassadors at Pak-Afghan border. Afghanistan should refrain from interfering in internal affairs of Pakistan. Afghan regime should implement Doha agreement assurances. Pakistan has grave concerns over its border violations by Fitna al-Khawarij\u201d and \u201cFitna al-Hindustan.\u201d
\nPakistan is taking steps as per national law on presence of Afghan citizens on its land.
\nWe hope Afghan people will see governance representing by their true representatives.
\nRejecting any Pakistan role in regime change in Afghanistan, spokesperson said Pakistan is not involved in any business of regime change in Afghanistan. Afghan people have to decide about regime.
\nForeign minister Ishaq Dar visited Afghanistan. Pakistan held meeting with good intent. However dangerous threshold was crossed after attack on Pakistan. India\u2019s negative role is very clear to every one in this regard. Statements of Indian foreign minister are before all of us. It is known to every one that India is sponsoring TTP, BLA and other terrorists outfits in Afghanistan.
\nHe underlined no constitution is in place in Kabul at present. But a faction is ruling therein by dint of force.
\nHe noted that Pakistan had hosted over four million Afghan citizens and expressed hope that the Taliban government would take effective action against terrorism.
\nThe Foreign Office also rejected the joint statement issued during the Afghan interim foreign minister\u2019s visit to India, in which Indian-occupied Kashmir was depicted as part of India.
\nIt clarified that the joint communiqu\u00e9 signed in India amounts to denying the rights of the people of occupied Kashmir, and confirmed that the Foreign Secretary had briefed foreign diplomats on the situation following the recent aggression by the Afghan Taliban.
\nHe remarked India\u2019s negative role is affecting the entire Asian region. India has strained relations with all its neighboring countries. We have noted the remarks from Indian foreign ministry. Such comments are bid to deteriorate relations between two countries.
