She has achieved the distinction of becoming the first scholar to earn a PhD in Oral Pathology from KMU, a significant milestone in the university\u2019s academic and research history.<br \/>\nHer PhD research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Asif Ali, while Prof. Dr. Syed Ali Khurram from the University of Sheffield, UK, and Prof. Dr. Muslim Khan from Khyber College of Dentistry, Peshawar, served as co-supervisors. The title of her PhD thesis was \u201cInvestigation of Immunohistochemical Prognostic Biomarker Signature for Oral Cancer.\u201d<br \/>\nIn her research, Dr. Benish studied the role of immunehistochemical biomarkers in oral cancer. Her findings are expected to make a significant contribution to the scientific understanding of oral cancer pathology and may help in formulating improved diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines in the future.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the Vice Chancellor KMU, Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, congratulated Dr. Benish Aleem, her supervisors, and the Institute of Pathology and Diagnostic Medicine on this remarkable achievement. He stated that this success reflects KMU\u2019s strong commitment to promoting research and innovation.
