\nChief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi welcomed the inclusion of 94 lawyers from the Justice Lawyers Forum into the Insaf Lawyers Forum, terming it a positive step toward strengthening the movement for the rule of law.
\nA formal joining ceremony was held at the Chief Minister\u2019s House, where the Chief Minister congratulated the newly joined members and said that his government is committed to ending what he described as the \u201cculture of one state, two constitutions.\u201d
\n\u201cOur struggle is for real freedom and the supremacy of law, and the legal fraternity has a central role to play in this movement,\u201d he remarked.
\nThe chief minister said that the 26th Constitutional Amendment had rendered the judiciary ineffective and reiterated his government\u2019s resolve to uphold justice and institutional integrity. He announced that grants worth Rs420 million for bar associations across the province had been approved and would be released in the coming days.
\nMuhammad Soha Afridi said the government would not allow the constitution and law to become a \u201cspider\u2019s web in which the weak are trapped while the powerful go free.\u201d He stressed that all citizens are equal before law and that even the powerful would be brought to justice.
\nThe chief minister also criticized the authorities for allegedly disregarding court orders permitting his meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan, saying that \u201csitting on the road is not my weakness but a reflection of the judiciary\u2019s helplessness in implementing its own orders.\u201d
\n\u201cIf judges are being held hostage, they should tell the nation so that steps can be taken for their freedom,\u201d he added.
\nThe chief minister concluded that his government is focused on ensuring judicial independence, constitutional supremacy, rule of law, and freedom of the media.
\nCM bans transfers, appointments until formation of new Cabinet
\nThe Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has imposed an immediate ban on transfers, appointments and new recruitments across all government departments, subordinate bodies, and autonomous organizations. The restriction will remain in place until the formation of the new provincial cabinet.
\nAccording to a notification issued by the Chief Minister\u2019s Secretariat to all administrative secretaries, departmental heads and senior police officials, all transfers and postings of officers and employees in government and autonomous institutions are prohibited.
\nSimilarly, all new recruitments, whether permanent, temporary, contractual, or project-based have been suspended with immediate effect.
\nHowever, the directive specifies that in exceptional cases where a decision is deemed necessary in the public interest, the concerned department may submit a detailed summary for special approval from the Chief Minister.
\nAuthorities have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the order and to communicate the directive to all subordinate offices and institutions.

\nHe said our struggle is a movement for real independence and rule of law and lawyers community have leading role therein. Grants amounting to Rs 420 million have been approved for bar associations in the province which will be provided within a few days.
\nHe announced we have not to let law and constitution to become cob web where weak is entrapped and powerful comes out . Law and constitution are equal for all. We have to bring powerful and unjust people to the dock.
\nHe held the court\u2019s orders on arranging his meeting with PTI founder were dumped in a trash bin .
