The Sheher Mela will feature smart innovation solutions, electric vehicle (EV) displays and rides, musical performances, a drum circle, children\u2019s entertainment zones, and food courts showcasing local cuisine.<br \/>\nTalking to media on Tuesday, he said the festival will celebrate Islamabad\u2019s progress and community spirit. Islamabad Sheher Mela is not only about honouring the city\u2019s 65-year planning legacy but also about engaging citizens in shaping its future. We want to showcase how innovation and sustainability can enhance urban living, the spokesperson stated.<br \/>\nThe CDA, established in 1960, has overseen the capital\u2019s development since its inception under the original Master Plan designed by Greek architect Constantinos A. Doxiadis. Over the decades, Islamabad has become recognised for its greenery, urban design, and balance between modern infrastructure and natural landscapes.<br \/>\nThe upcoming mela, officials say, will offer an opportunity for residents to reconnect with their city\u2019s identity while exploring future-forward technologies that could redefine mobility and sustainability in the capital.
