\nIslamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment in recovery of Deputy Director (DD) NCCIA Usman.
\nJustice Azam Khan remarked how can we summon him. Now FIR has been lodged. The person is on physical remand. Usman is too resident of Lahore. How can we summon him here.
\nStunning revelations were made during the hearing of the case on Friday.
\nThe petition filed by his wife seeking recovery of DD NCCIA Usman came up for hearing in IHC Friday.
\nDSP legal Sajid Cheema told the court that corruption case has been registered against D.D Usman, arrest has been made, physical remand has been obtained and statement under 161 has been recorded.
\nDSP legal told the court written statement of Usman too has come wherein he stated he was absconding on his own due to inquiry.
\nDD Usman is charged with taking bribe to the tune of Rs 150 million from a tik toker. Statement under 161 by Usman has come wherein he said he was absconding on his own.
\nThe police requested the court to wrap up petition related to his recovery.
\nRizwan Abbasi counsel for the petitioner took the plea in the court it is not so easy to wrap up the petition. He was kept missing for 15 days. This court ordered for his recovery then their wings were burnt.
\nHe was presented in Lahore after registering FIR.
\nHe prayed the court to order for presenting Usman in high court besides summoning DG FIA in person.
\nJustice Azam Khan remarked how can we summon. FIR has been lodged now. The person is on physical remand. Usman is resident of Lahore. How can we summon him here.
\nThe counsel told Usman was kidnapped from jurisdiction of this court. The video of kidnappers related to Islamabad is available. The wife of the petitioner too has disappeared under fear. Man is kidnapped from the jurisdiction powers of IHC. He is shown arrested after 15 days. Inquiry was changed into FIR within 20 minutes.
\nCounsel for the petitioner further said police knew the fact but they kept on lying before the court. if he had committed offence then how can he be kidnapped. Signatures were obtained from Usman on plain paper and later statement was written by them on their own . What statement was written with hand it is not handwriting of Usman. If his statement was written then why case of kidnapping was registered. Videos are available wherein 4 people kidnapped Usman from Islamabad.
\nThe counsel said this is not a new method. In several matters it is seen that the man is lifted and then his arrest is shown. Arrest was shown after keeping him under illegal custody for 15 days.
\nWhat authority rests with DG FIA to get kidnap some one.
\nDSP legal told the court Usman has taken Rs 150 Million from a tik toker.
\nThe counsel replied either Usman took bribe of Rs 150 million or Rs 500 million , He be executed but take action as per law.
\nThe police requested the court that inquiry is running against Usman too. It is our request that this petition be wrapped up.
