\nSpecial Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan has assured that the government would provide all possible support to meet the information department\u2019s resource needs and to strengthen the capacity of its field offices
\nHe expressed these views during his visit to the Information Department.
\nOn this occasion, Secretary Information Muhammad Bakhtiar Khan and Director General Information Muhammad Imran gave him a detailed briefing on the department\u2019s performance, administrative structure, ongoing projects, and challenges being faced.
\nDuring the briefing, the Special Assistant was informed about the performance and field activities of various sections of the department, including the Press Registrar, Radio, Production, Public Relations, and other attached formations.
\nAppreciating the overall performance of the Information Department, Shafi Jan said that the department serves as a strong communication bridge between the provincial government and the public.
\nHe directed that through the effective use of modern technology, digital media, and social platforms, the department should more efficiently convey the provincial government\u2019s public welfare projects, reform initiatives, and ongoing efforts for peace to the people.
\nHe further stated that the Information Department is a very important institution of the provincial government, and its resources and capacity will be further enhanced so that it can perform its duties in line with modern requirements.
\nShafi Jan emphasized that everyone must work together as a team to address the issues and challenges faced by the department.
