\nRana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce and senior PML-N spokesperson, is leading an international delegation of 21 spokespersons from political parties worldwide on a multi-city workshop and seminar tour organized by the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC). The program commenced on November 10, 2025.
\nDuring a key session guided by IDCPC Vice Minister Sun Haiyan, delegates from South Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and other regions received detailed briefings on the Communist Party of China\u2019s (CPC) governance model, anti-corruption initiatives, innovation-driven policies, and people-centered development strategies.
\nVice Minister Sun presented the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026\u20132030), which emphasizes green energy, digital transformation, rural revitalization, and technological self-reliance in AI and semiconductors, aiming for approximately 5% annual GDP growth. The plan builds upon the 14th Five-Year Plan\u2019s achievements in poverty eradication and post-pandemic resilience.
\nShe also highlighted President Xi Jinping\u2019s vision of a global community of shared future, stressing multilateralism, Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation, and collective action on climate change and global stability.
\nAs the delegation\u2019s leader, Afzal Khan underscored the alignment of China\u2019s initiatives with Pakistan\u2019s development priorities under CPEC, particularly in renewable energy and agriculture. \u201cThis engagement fosters mutual understanding and strengthens global political dialogue,\u201d he said.
