Clients booking Category A halls will now pay 50,000 rupees per event, compared to the previous rate of 25,000 rupees.<br \/>\nFor Category B wedding halls, with a capacity of 300 to 500 people, the tax has been raised by 5,000 rupees, bringing the new fixed rate to 20,000 rupees per event. The tax for Category C wedding halls remains unchanged, with 10,000 rupees to be collected per event.<br \/>\nA KPRA spokesperson said the revised tax structure has been enforced from July 1, in line with decisions made in the provincial budget.
