Market capitalisation decreased to Rs18.512 trillion from Rs18.585 trillion.<br \/>\nOut of 476 active companies in the ready market, 145 closed higher, 289 declined, and 42 remained unchanged.<br \/>\nThe leading companies in terms of ready-market turnover were WorldCall Telecom with 76.71 million shares, followed by K-Electric Ltd with 64.27 million shares, and Bank Makramah with 61.37 million shares.<br \/>\nThe top gainers were PIA Holding Company Limited-B, which increased by Rs140.00 to close at Rs24,562.00, and Nestle Pakistan Limited, rising by Rs54.33 to close at Rs8,049.33.<br \/>\nConversely, the major losers were Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited, which declined by Rs531.71 to close at Rs29,368.29, and Supernet Technologies Limited, decreasing by Rs154.51 to close at Rs1,642.79.<br \/>\nIn the futures market, turnover stood at 183.14 million shares with a traded value of Rs7.75 billion, compared to 166.59 million shares valued at Rs9.52 billion on the previous day.<br \/>\nOut of 318 futures-market companies, 64 recorded gains, 251 declined, and 3 remained unchanged.<br \/>\nThe top volume contracts in the futures segment were PIAHCLA-Nov with
